Installation on HFS+ formatted iPod 2nd Gen

I want to install Rockbox on my iPod, but it was formatted by a Mac, and needs to be FAT32.
I've attached my iPod's current partition table according to qtparted. Do I just need to reformat sdb3 as FAT32, or is there more to it?

Thanks for the reply, but neither of the two links provide information specific to my iPod (2nd generation, 10GB), specifically the correct partition table.
When I restore it, do I use the same partitions I have now, and how do I restore the "unknown" filesystem types?

Try following the instructions on the ipodlinux website, creating a partition table similar to the one described for the 3G.  The difference for your ipod will be that the second partition will need to be smaller - but fdisk will take care of that for you, just tell it to use the rest of the disk when creating the second partition.

I followed the instructions and Rockbox now boots, but it immediately freezes, either on the splash screen or the main menu.
I can't turn it off, but I can restart it by holding menu + play. The backlight is also stuck on.
Any advice?

Update: At first I could connect my iPod to my computer by plugging it in and restarting it. Now I just keep getting data aborts (The latest was "Data abort at F0000000"). Please help!
