Problems removing rockbox

I am trying to uninstall too.  I held down the left key and then "on" button...booted up with Rhapsody and plugged in to the USB.  I can see the drive in "My Computer" and all the files and songs on the Sansa..even able to copy and paste songs on there and listen to them.  But when I use the Rockbox Utility, it says "Sansa" not found when I try to run "remove rockbox bootloader".  Interestingly enough, if I click the "Remove Rockbox" it will delete the files on the Sansa...so why would it work with the one and not the other.

Can someone post the step by step procedure on how to reverse engineer installation?  I installed Rockbox manually and had no problems...I can't work backwards though (guess I"m not smart enough).

If I want to uninstall manually...is there a way to rename files or add individual files to the system folder on the Sansa...and then I can delete the .rockbox folder?  Or would this totally screw things up?

I wish I could even get that far. Mine will not boot up into Rhapsody. Like I said with mine when I try that I get asn error message and the player just shuts down. Is there anyway to contact someone from rockbox directly? Rockbox has basically now turned my e250r into a paper weight as the computer will not recognize the player so I can ad files to it. I am wondering if anyof them could give me more help in fixing the problem.

It sounds like you started installing rockbox, but did not complete the process and so do not have dual booting setup.  I think this page will help:

http://www.rockbox.org/twiki/bin/view/Main/SansaE200Unbrick

I suggest reading that carefully before doing anything.  Its not too hard to fix your install, but if you make another mistake here, it will become much, much harder to fix.

Ok after following that link I got it working again. Thank you for the help.

If you can boot to Rhapsody, you can just manually upgrade the sansa firmware, it will remove the bootloader for you.
