He said he hasn't heard of anyone doing it. That doesn't mean he HAS heard of people trying it and failing. He said, I think somewhat clearly by the "never tried it [...] - never heard from anyone else that has" that he's just heard nothing.

Anyway, I'd give very high odds for it working if you remove the Rockbox bootloader, use iPodWizard on a "clean" iPod, then reinstall the Rockbox bootloader.

kk then, it just seemed by the way he said he hadnt heard anyone successfully do it, that he had heard of soneone who may have done, though it hadn't worked for them.

ok then, i may try it, not sure yet at the moment, wasn't sure if installing the classic hack firmware would affect the rockbox bootloader.

Oh, no, the Rockbox bootloader won't care at all what else is in the firmware partition after it unless you try to boot the original firmware. The only hurdle you may run into is if it somehow prevents iPodPatcher from detecting your iPod as being safe to install to, which is still somewhat unlikely.

As long as you install the Rockbox bootloader on a working iPod (do iPodWizard hacks BEFORE the bootloader install) if the Bootloader actually tells you it installed, Rockbox will work fine. Whether or not your original firmware will boot, I cannot say (it certainly SHOULD).
