HI guys..
i have never ever used linux in my life..
actually i copied unofficial version of firmware in 16mb partion in recovery mode.when my player restarted then only scroll light brinks nothing else happens not it is/can connect to pc.
Any way to do it in WINDOWS??? winXP
all methods of manufacturing mode are giving to be excuted in LINUX not a single in window..!
if yes then please tell me !

there are much more than a dozen targets for Rockbox. There are more than a few hundred things that could go wrong with either of them.

Care to explain your problem in no uncertain terms? Like, what device, what Rockbox version, what are you trying to do, what does linux has to do with it, etc. ?

I'm guessing this is about the Sansa. If you're talking about e200tool, then there's no way for it to work in windows. Just get a linux livecd and boot it.
