Well anyway the last time I updated rockbox was 2.5 years ago ;)

Either way, I'll have to check whether dir cache has an impact on bootup time now. With the old build it sure did.

There have been many thousands of changes in the last 2.5 years.  Please, if you are going to comment on something please make sure that you are even remotely up-to-date.  It wastes everyones time trying to investigate issues or something so outdated.
