Why go Rockbox?

What cracks me up about slower/low traffic forums such as this, if everyone were to just read the manual and search topics then there wouldn't be much of a forum and it would die from even less traffic. I say the more the merrier.

You are required to search before asking questions. Why on earth should we want umpteen duplicate questions just to make the traffic higher? The rules you agreed to on sign up are enforced.

This is a support forum. It serves a very specific purpose. This forum neither needs nor encourages discussion for the sake of discussion.
In any event, I think that this thread has outlived whatever purpose it may once have served.
