WHERE IS THE 'ROOT' OF MY SANSA e200R
« on: November 12, 2007, 03:43:03 PM »
I've done a good job of following the directions to installing rockbox very well but to be honest im not computer savvy so i have no idea what the file is th root of my sansa and im afraid of just putting it anywhere. I'd really rather not have a bricked sansa! :'(

The root is the base level folder of your player.  So if your player comes up in Windows as drive F, the root is F:\

In other words, extract files directly to the player itself, not to a folder on the player.
