i would just like to say thanks to the developers who work on the h10 port and congratulate them on their recent enablement of the FM tuner. allot of us appreciate the hard work and effort that went into this project. now because of your hard work we get to enjoy more features of the h10 dap through rockbox and without you all it would never have happened

So, is the tuner working fine for everybody? I can't pick up anything but static with some faint sounds. :( But firmware tuner works fine.

After actually trying it...I get the same.

No reception and then when scanning for channels, the device freezes.

 :-[

I'm using an iRiver H10 20gb.

Well, that's what I got at first (static and static)..

Went out, went back in answering 'no' to autoscan, long-press of the select button and then chose 'region -> north america'.

I also went in the wiki to download a preset list for Montreal, so I didn't have to 'scan'... so I can't tell if there's anything buggy there. (??)

It works real well for me anyway. H10 5gb.

I tried all of that, but it didnt help.

But, the weirdest thing just happened to me. So I am sitting in front of the computer, with the headphones connected to iriver. The tuner set to a station, but all I get is static. But then, I touch a key on my keyboard(wireless) to write this post, and I suddenly get a very clear sound from the radio. :o And the moment I stop pushing the button, static comes back. Meh, its probably the signal interference...

Just did some experiments. Apparently, changing station doesnt do anything and the radio is stuck on 97.3 Mhz.
Maybe its just the 20GB problem.

Hmm..

How does the OF radio work for you with that same headset? You do realize that it's the earphones' cable that serves as an antenna, maybe some of them don't pick up signal too good?

I do realize that. But OF radio works great. Took the batteries out of the keyboard - didn't help, but when I put them back and pressed connect I got a clear connection for a couple of seconds. And the moment the keyboard found the receiver, it all went back to "push button to listen to the radio" mode :) I still had the static when I went outside the house, though. This is really screwed up here, can someone explain to me what the hell is going on?  :P
