Sansa E200R Available Memory incorrect

When I plug in my Sansa and look at the available memory it shows 1.36 GB available (Original Firmware reports 1400 meg).

However my actual free available memory is only approx 400Mb.

I deleted my Rhapsody content and my actual memory free went to 1.8 Gig, but the available memory both in Rockbox and OF remains unchanged.

Any idea what would cause this?  Obviously reformatting the device would fix this.  However, obviously remormatting this device, is something I don't really want to do (unless I like installing from scratch).

Any ideas what file reports the free memory, and can that file be deleted and rewritten?

Any idea how to correct this?

Just to clarify, actual free memory does show correctly on the computer when connected via USB.  It's just the available memory display that is shown in Rockbox and on the OF Info section.

This is taken from the "FSINFO" field in the filesystem - Windows doesn't update this value when adding/deleting files, so it is often incorrect.

Rockbox can recalculate it - go into System -> Rockbox Info and then press select.  You should see a "Scanning disk..." splash whilst Rockbox recalculates that info.
