hi, i have a chance to buy cheap above mp3 player, but the problem is that it dont work; guy said that when you turn on it, black screen appear, and wheel lights with blue color, he said that loading of new firmware will help...what do you thing about it? (users of this model) is there way to repair it?
ohh, he also said that this problem happend during updating of firmware...

You should probably read through that whole thread before deciding to purchase such a unit.

It is virtually impossible to brick a sansa by using software, so as long as you're ok with running Linux you should be able to unbrick it from all (to me) known bad states.
