Disktidy: "Plug-in returned error" on H320

I have searched the forums for this problem and it's apparent that it's persistant.

I have updated to SVN build r15465-071105, but for two weeks before this, everytime I ran disktidy it just gave me "plug-in return error".  With this recent build it gave me  the same error message, but after five tries it finally worked again.  

Can anyone else verify if they have had this problem?

I'm using an iriver H320. Any ideas would be appreciated.

The disktidy plugin will error out if the path is too deep.  I believe a path eight folders deep will cause the plugin to return an error.  I ran into this first after installing some portable software on my player.  See FS#6410.
