Trouble with Freedoom on E200
(1/1)
cheesecake:
I'm having some trouble with freedoom.
I'm using the latest version of rockbox as of 11/1/07.
I'm using a sansa E200R
I have installed the doom2.wad that comes with freedoom (from the freedoom site) in the root of the doom folder, and it has been recognized by rockdoom.
I can use the doom shareware, but would like access to freedoom as i have some user created wads for doom 2 sitting around doing nothing.
The Problem:
Getting freedoom selected is not a problem. The problem lies in that once it has booted, it spends a minute on loading different graphics and sprites (R_TextureNumForName: Sprite or graphic name), or more, then when it apparently finishes, it shuts down and exits me to the games submenu of plugins. I haven't been able to tell if it's giving me some error message, it goes too fast through that. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
matmat07:
Maybe i'm wrong, but can i think it can't be played on a e200r..
draeath:
My e200r has no issues. Just built from SVN 16006 (last doom.c commit breaks my player on exiting doom)
Latest freedoom (as of 3 days ago).
