Updating Rockbox on 1st G Nano with iPL loader 2.4

Hi all,

I decided to update my Rockbox because of the several new stuff since the august 2006 build i have installed. I downloaded the lastest build, deleted the whole old .rockbox folder, and copied the new one into the ipod root. as found via the forumsearch, i made sure that there is no rockbox.ipod in the root, just in the .rockbox folder. Now when i start my ipod there is no rockbox entry in the bootloader anymore. copying the rockbox.ipod from the .rockbox folder in the root, gives the rockbox entry in iPL but after choosing rockbox the green loadbalance in the startscreen runs to the end and freezes?!

any suggestions or people having the same problem!?

Stop using Loader 2.4. Seriously, it's outdated. Update to the most recent one, then, and this is the REALLY important bit, read the "POSTING IN THIS FORUM" post and try to follow our guidelines in the future.
