Febs:
If you can't get to disk mode, you're not doing it right.  You can *always* put the iPod into disk mode.

Following these instructions and try again: http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=93651

suiryuu:
thx for reply, but how can i know my iPod is charged ? i dont' have a apple iPod charger. and when i plug it in my macbook pro USB my iPod said it is very slow battery. after a few minutes, the apple logo appear and and the black screen appears again and the same display. some more when i press the (menu + select) for reset it also no respon. any idea ?

algalord:
the ipod charges in disk mode without trying to get the firmware which takes alot of battery. Also it doesn't charge the ipod in the loading of the firmware. So first charge it in disk mode and then try again.

suiryuu:
yeah i fix it. the way is quite different from what i had read in forum.

my iPod recovered but with a different way.......

1. just press menu instead of ( menu + select ), it will automatically reboot the iPod and the apple logo appear
2.when the apple logo appear press ( select + play )
3.you will success to go to disk mode
4.then you connect your iPod to the iPod charger or a USB port to change it.
5.go to iTunes to restore your iPod.

NOTES :
* if you have a problem like what i had from the beginning, you should charger your iPod for a long time
*unplug the cable and start to do the step i posted
*i'm not sure can you reboot the iPod and switch to disk mode when the cable is plugged, but i unplug it when i do it.

HOPE ALL OF YOU SUCCESS
