Sorting artists in database

Is there any way to have artists with "The" in their title to be sorted by the word after "the".

For example, can I make it so "The Black Keys" will be listed in the B's rather than the T's?

Seriously, this topic has been discussed a few times, there is a complete thread about why it isn't easily possible currently and solutions and suggestions (Rejection of "ignore the" patch (split from the Evil_G unsupported build thread)). Please read more and maybe try searching the forums before as the guidelines you agreed on when joining require you to. You may also find out more than me now...

Yeah I tried searching. I just wasn't exactly sure the best way to search. My major issue is with the word "the" and the way it's displayed in the "database"...not exactly the most specific key words.

After a few improvements are made you'll be wanting the metadata sorting patch.  I gotta say that I'm not sure I believe you really searched this out though.  If you had I'm positive you would have ended up in my neck of the woods here as it were.
