My computer can't recognize my ipod (30g build)

I got evil g's build on my ipod, and now all the computers say it's an unkown device and it's not responding with ANYTHING. I updated the database when I used it, but thats about it. Now it works fine, songs, wps, and themes, but I can't connect it to the computer, and someone might have to erase it and cost me alot of money, or buy a new one >_

saratoga:
1)  Unsupported builds are unsupported.
2)  Theres no USB mode in rockbox for the Ipods and other PP targets anyway.
