Need help to install Sansa e250

Hi all,

I have tried both the rockbox utility and the manual way but it still boots to sansa and not rockbox.

Using the utility it gives an error message about connecting to the internet.

When I install it manually the files (.rockbox) are there in the root directory but it still does not work.

When using the rockbox utility to automatic install the first option "complete installation" tells me that I already have the bootloader installed.

It is when I tried the second option that I get the "cannot connect to internet  to download" error.

I am using windows XP and the utility identified the correct drive letter for the sansa.

With mine, I simply placed .rockbox in the root of the player, then ran the sansa patcher. Was easier then fixing my e250 when the drive got corrupted after deleteing the "stock" music.

Obviously, you forgot to run the sansa patcher.
