Database problem, recently added not working

Not sure which forum is the right place for this post but whenever I add new stuff to my HP-140 and refresh the database my recently added section always remains empty, as does my favourite artists and favourite albums sections.  Most played and recently played work fine though.

Anyone know a reason for this or what I can do to fix it?

Which SVN build are you using, first off? This is important to know.

Check it by going to System > Rockbox Info and reading the string of numbers that starts with an r.

That is 6 weeks old.  Please update to the current build before reporting any problems.

As BigBambi said that's a fairly old build. I first thought something else was wrong for you because I expected you would use a current build (as the forum guidelines you agreed on when joining require you to hint).

Anyways, do you have "gather runtime data" enabled? It's only briefly covered in the manual but you need to enable this option in order to get "recently added" (and the others) working. Searching in the forums and especially the wiki brings up some useful information (pointing to the guidelines again...).

My first thought was that it is related to what's described in this bug report ( FS#8040 - Gather Runtime Data stopped working with r15306). I don't use this feature so don't know if it has been fixed already, please update, try and report back.

My problem is very similar. The number of songs in "Most played" is 100. More than a half of them have 3 or more times played. So they all should be in "favourite artists" and "favourite albums" if I got it right. I have only 2 artists in the "favourite artists" and they appeared there recently after I installed Rockbox. After that there were no tracks added to this folder.
 "Most played" and "Never played" works fine. "Gather runtime data" is turned on. Version of Rockbox is 3.7.1. Sansa Clip+ 4Gb.
P.S. What's the difference between "Recent favourites" and "New favourites". I didn't find any information in the manual. Thanks in advance.
