Backup e280 FW Before Rockbox Install?

I’m about to try my first Rockbox install. I was wondering, do you pros backup anything from your Sansa before proceeding? If so, what should I backup? What files and what directories?

Seems like a cautious approach, but if it doesn’t help recover from the likely problems, then I’ll just skip it.

There aren't any files on the player to back up. And really, if you manage any of the problems that would require something like a backup, it'd be the same as just reinstalling an official firmware update anyway (which works fine).
