Refresh Database, non-recognized c240
« on: October 28, 2007, 12:39:45 PM »
I tried uninstalling Rockbox by deleting all the files but cannot delete the partition.
I then tried installing the original firmware by booting in the recovery mode and updating the firmware
However when I connect the c240 to my computer running in Linux I get the message "Refresh Database" with a progress bar that never quite gets to the finish.
The same thing happens when I turn on the c240 until the battery is flat.
The computer does not detect the c240 unless I boot in the recovery mode.
In Windows XP the computer does detect the c240 but I still get the Refresh Database message.
Any suggestions on how to clean up the mess so I can get the original firmware working and then can reinstall Rockbox?
John
