We don't really make plans, but if you own a S10 you can increase the chances of a port by starting with some of the work.

i know, i'm really not up to this task, but i've found an interesting web page which seems to have done some work in identifying which components are used in the S10:

ICs: SAMSUNG KGA0E000BA, E201, 622ARM, FU0337AA

ICs: Silicon Laboratories Si471x, SI4700B15, 0617BG, KABG

and some additional pictures about the display and the battery:

unfortunately, i don't have the skills or time to do any further work, but if I can help by searching something about the ICs or something else, i would kindly do these things!

greetings, shagnar.!

Edit: The Player firmware is about 1,8 megabytes size - all written in the ROM as far as i know.

To which person should I give all these information?

Start a wiki page and post your findings there. That's the best way to go.

You may have to ask for write permissions on IRC.
