After using the newest installer, rockbox won't go past the bootloader screen, I didn't hit the install bootloader button because I have no .hex file.This is an Ipod photo. By the way, thanks 4 your help

Could someone help me as well I have the firmware on my Ipod 5th Gen/video
But I cant play videos
I cant find how in the manual can someone tell me how?

collector169, please don't threadjack.  Your question belongs in the Plugins/Viewers forum.  You should also consult that section of the manual since you're seeking information on Mpegplayer.

T-random, I don't quite follow.  It sounds like you installed the bootloader, yet you say that you didn't hit the "install bootloader" button.  I'm also unclear on what .hex file you think you need.  

What happens when the bootloader runs?  Does it give you a message?
