Gigabeat F battery mAh setting

Related Gigabeat battery question.  I've just installed rockbox on a gigabeat F that came in the mail yesterday from ebay.  In the setup menu, there is a setting for the battery ma/h rating.  The default seemed to be around 1700ma/h with allowed settings from 1500 to 2500.  ALL OF THESE ARE WAY TOO HIGH!!!!  Isn't something wrong here?
IIRC the stock battery is 900ma/h.

I've found that runtime estimations (which that setting controls) are way off on the gigabeat anyway, so it doesn't really matter.
