Constantly "Writing"

Sansa E200
Vista Ultimate 32bit

Heres my problem
When I connect my sansa to the computer, it boots into the sandisk firmware (as expected), and says "Connected' on the screen. This is alright, and I can safely remove it. However, If I modify absoulately anything on the players drive (even rename a file), it will change the file accordingly, but the screen will still say "writing".  No matter how long I leave it plugged in, it never leaves this screen. I cannot safely remove the player when it is "writing". The only way I can (and have been) putting songs on and off the player is to just unplug it.  :o

I think it may be related to vista, but it shouldnt be as Sandisk says all over their site that its Vista compatible, and noone else is having problems. Also, could I have it in the wrong USB mode, which would cause this problem?

Im lost here guys...

Cheers

GodEater:
As far as I can tell there are very few Vista users on the forums. And it wouldn't surprise me at all that Vista is causing you these problems. There's a reason loads of people have gone back to XP you know ;)

that cant be good  :(

Mad Cow:
Well with flash storage nothing should get damaged when simply unplugging if you're not reading or writing.

Twilight in Zero:
I'm using Vista Ultimate, and the same thing happens when my dad plugs his Sansa in.
