« on: October 23, 2007, 05:53:50 AM »
Hi all,
I have a 60 gb Ipod video.
I have not updated for a while updated this morning then when in to the database option on the menu the database started building shortly after the player chased and displayed the following error.

*PANIC*
Updating size on e
mpty dir entry 38(square char)

I have left the ipod for an hour or so and the ipod has not rebooted  I have tried connecting to usb and several key presses that have forces an exit in the past.

Dose any body have any suggestions

I have serched the forums but not found any thing relevent

Switch the hold switch to on, and then to off.

Then *hold* menu+select for anything up to 30 seconds.
