Regarding the gradient selection bar orientation

I really dig that new feature but currently the gradient goes from top to bottom and  I was wondering does anyone know if it's possible to have gradient go from left to right instead? Just curious, thank you.

It's not possible with the current code, no. But there's nothing stopping anyone adding such a feature I guess.

Interesting idea.  From top to bottom the way it is now you have to go from darker to lighter or lighter to darker for a good 3D look.  I'm thinking if you did it longways you'd have to go from darker to lighter back to darker for the same effect so it' be a bit more complicated I think?
