Absolutely no playback under Rockbox
brownbox:
well, i reformatted the sansa and reinstalled rockbox and its alright now, as it was last time i reformatted. Is it something Im doing which is causing something to corrupt?
GodEater:
If you don't choose the option to "Safely eject hardware" before you unplug your device (assuming you run windows) or "unmount" it if you run some flavour of linux - then yes - you're doing something which leads to this corruption.

WMA is not affected by this.

It seems I've been having the same problem, except with my Gigabeat F40. I just installed RB version: r15627-071114 (i used the utility). My music files are all wma. When I try to play them (besides the one album that's apparently protected >:(), I get question marks in the display for Codec and bitrate plus occasionally it'll say no file.
What does it mean, what does it mean? ... and what should I do? ???

I don't see how this can be the same problem..
Can you upload one of the files somewhere?
