New idea! Viewer to launch .bin files!
« on: October 22, 2007, 08:08:28 PM »
Well, I was just reading up on some ipodlinux topics and I was reading about iLaunch, which could load and open up pretty much all .bin files. I was thinking about rockbox and how it could benefit greatly from something like this. Also, I know that ipodlinux and rockbox are way different and have nothing to do with each other, but this will be a great development for rockbox.

I, of course, have no programming background except for web design and wps' and it would be nice to hear from the devs about this.
Thanks!

Open .bin files and do what exactly? You know that Rockbox already has a plugin system that lets you load code from files on the disk (though they end in .rock instead of .bin) right?
