help with installation

existenz618:
im new to rockbox and installed it to the best of my ability...i have an ipod video 5th generation 80 gig

Everytime i restart my ipod so rockbox can load, i get this error message

loading rockbox...
error!
can't load rockbox.ipod:
file not found
hold menu+select.....

obviously i extracted the rockbox file to the wrong place on my ipod...can anyone tell me exactly where it should be extracted (step by step would be very helpful0

You should extract the contents of the .zip file to the root directory of your iPod.  This should give you a directory called ".rockbox" that contains the rockbox.ipod file.

/me suggests using using Rockbox Utility as the manual also suggests ...

i also have one other question (i no i must sound like such a noob) how do i watch videos??
