So what I would like to do is change the name of the database to music. Is this possible?

I tried searching but could not find a question like mine.

It's possible, but you would have to change the actual code itself and then compile it.

You don't need to change the code itself, it's sufficient to use a modified language file. Check the wiki on how to create language files.

I'm sorry--one can modify the language file to change the screen headings? Maybe I misunderstood the question.   I couldn't find that information in the wiki.

Llorean:
The language files contain nearly all the text "in" Rockbox. This is to make it translatable. Any string that can be changed to another language can also simply be changed to another string in the same language by editing the language file and reloading it.

So for example, every line in the main menu can be changed simply by creating your own custom english.lang
