Can't find " iPod Classic (6th Gen)" thread anymore -- was it deleted?

I've been following the " iPod Classic (6th Gen)" thread in the "New Ports" forum to see what the status is on the potential for a port for these newest iPod units.  I just got an email message indicating that a new post had been added to this thread, but when I try to go to it, it indicates that the thread is gone, and I no longer see this thread even when I visually search every page of the "New Ports" forum.  I looked around for any talk on this, but I didn't pull up anything.  Did I miss something?  Where did this thread go?

The thread seems to have accidentally been deleted. It seems likely someone may have clicked the wrong thing while trying to remove an off topic post from it.

As the thread contained no useful-to-Rockbox information to date, it was not a terrible loss anyway.

It was useful for users like myself who just want to follow any potential progress on this subject.  It gave people a single place to check rather than having to search the forums for information about the new Classic iPods, and it was "the" place to post questions on this subject.

Oh well.

There was no progress in that thread yet. That was my point as "not useful." It was a bunch of guesses and then people being told "I'm sorry, that has nothing to do with getting Rockbox on the player, once more that's just a link to an article about the database decryption."

Sounds useful to me, because now those questions will be asked in other areas of the forums.
