Load last bookmark behaviour
« on: October 20, 2007, 01:27:29 PM »

The "Load last bookmark" behaviour doesn't seem to match the manual, I was wondering which was right.

The manual says:
Quote
When the Load Last Bookmark option is set to Ask, Rockbox will give the user the option of starting from the beginning of the track of or from the bookmark.

But Rockbox actually presents a list of all the directory's bookmarks as well as the option of just starting the track. This seems better than what the manual says (although maybe it would be better if the track you chose was at the top of the list?) .

Quote
When the Load Last Bookmark option is set to Yes, Rockbox automatically returns to the position of the last bookmark within a file when that file is played.

In this case Rockbox ignores the file I chose (I'm using the file browser to select a track) and starts playing from the most recent bookmark in the directory (even if it is a different file). In this case I would prefer it did what the manual said.
