New HD in Archos Jukebox Studio
« on: October 19, 2007, 03:49:53 AM »
Hi.

I want to replace the old 10 Gb HD in my Playerfor a 40 Gb.
But when I start the player, it always sais "HDD ERROR".
I tried a 40 Gbyte FAT32-partition, a 32 and 31 Gbyte FAT32-Partition... always the same.

What do I do wrong?

I know that the topic was already discussed, but it's not helping me.
I used swissknife now, and the batteries are defenitely full, because the old HD boots. So I don't know what else to do. The HD spins and on the Display stands: HD ERROR.

I got it... the drive was jumpered "cable select"  >.<
