Sansa e200 Battery Meter

(1/2) > >>

scarfy:
Is it just me Sansa (with latest Rockbox build) that reports the battery low low even at 40% remaining..?

Do I need to patch it separately to get accurate battery levels?

AlexP:
I don't quite undertand the question - Rockbox is reporting 40% battery left, AND is showing a low battery warning at the sametime?

atomik:
no,
i have the same problem, the player shut down when the baterry meter show 40 % and when i just finish charge it it show 80%

scharkalvin:
What I am seeing (my WPS only shows a bar graph) is that the bar graph gets down to about 1/3 then disappears completely, followed by the player shutting down shortly after.  Also unless I charge with the OF, and leave the charger connected for a few hours after the lighting bold disappears the battery drops to one bar down as soon as I disconnect the charger.  If I leave the charger connected for a few hours longer, the battery stays at the full icon when the charger is disconnected.

Could you try using a WPS with an actual percentage readout?  If the image conditionals are coded incorrectly a graphical one could bear no relation whatsoever to actual battery level.

Then that is very odd, and not having a Sansa I don't know.
