1G Ipod Nano Linux install help please
« on: October 16, 2007, 08:10:18 PM »
I loaded all the Rockbox software into the ipod in the .rockbox folder.  I then used ipodpatcher and it runs successfully but when I go to reboot my Ipod it just boots back into Apple's firmware.  How can I get my ipod to boot into rockbox???

...and "rebooting" doesn't mean turning off your ipod by holding play and then back on again, as it states in Apple's manuals - since this doesn't actually restart the ipod at all.

Make sure you do a proper reboot by holding Menu+Select.
