Ok so i have Rockbox running on my ipod.. Let me say, that it works like a charm for running roms and videos.. I also changed the theme and icons.. So many features to it, that its amazing.. I give a thanx to all you for making this program!

Now to the point. I recently been trying to put .mp3 files that i had on my shared folder in documents onto .rockbox folder in disk. I just copied to main folder with no editing done. But than when i open up rockbox and go to the song, it opens and says no song.? I don't know what i did wrong. I do have some pictures to give u a better understanding on my issue.

Pics:

1.2.3.
4.5.

Two issues come to mind, though neither of them are likely the cause of your problem.

1. I'd say you've posted this in the wrong forum. This forum is about installation which you've successfully done. Now you should be in the Audio Playback forum.
2. Don't put music in the .rockbox folder. It's not that you can't it just not a very good idea because the .rockbox folder is intended to be used by Rockbox itself, not by the user. That's why it's hidden by default. Create a "Music" folder or something in the G:\ or something and put your music there.

also to have better screen shots of your player use the screendump feature that rockbox has. look it up in the manual.

Edit: when i open my songs, the song is shown, but at the bottom it says: 0:00/0:00

Our posting guidelines require you to use proper whole english words. "Sry", and "u" are not acceptable here. Please remember this in future.

With a decent Tag Editing program. Consult google.
