Bricked-est Sansa ever?
« on: October 14, 2007, 11:02:19 PM »
My relatively new (well, refurb) Sansa e260 started acting funny today (skipping audio, hanging), and then went blue-ring-only on me today after I turned it off when the database refresh hung (Sansa OS).

lsusb shows me nothing. No manufacturer mode, no pre-bootloader mode. Nothing. I've retried about a dozen times.

Process:
1. Made sure hold was on
2. Held down center button
3. Plugged in, the blue ring went on
5. lsusb
6. There is nothing new on the device list.

What in the world happened?

Sounds like its broken.  Try and get Sandisk to replace it.
