I have to compile e200rpatcher?
« on: October 14, 2007, 10:25:08 PM »
Why can't a Linux binary be provided?   ???  I had to convert my e200R to an e200 to get Rockbox working dual boot!  I miss Rhapsody!

Why can't a Linux binary be provided?
Because nobody created one yet.

There's now a linux binary.

It's not statically linked though - so you'll need libusb installed.

'tis now statically linked as well.

Dammit... I couldn't get my e200 (now) back to a stock e200R, so e200rpatcher kept tossing me errors that it couldn't identify the BL.  I ended up just using the manual method.

if you had already converted it to a e200 there was no need to run e200rpatcher

Using PMs to annoy devs about bugs/patches is not a good way to have the issue looked at.

Yes, but what can I say? I wanted anti-aliased fonts again.   ::)
