Help On Displaying Album Art on th Toshiba Gigabeat F40

Hi

First of all I am new here, but I'd like to say what absolutley fantastic work on the hardrive players you people have done. Thanks. My question is, I have downloaded many various themes (WPS) that are suppose to display album art. I do not get any album art to display at all and my secreen doesn't show the same configuration as what I see on the WPS download page. One in particular I like is the Yellow Jacket at the very bottom. Anyway my display shows it's colours and the wasp logo but that's it. I have tried to use other WPS themes that I downloaded and they all display the same way but with the colour theme that is of the WPS theme only. I have clicked on each file that is there on my unit (under Browse Themes) as well as Browse .wps files. Can anyone give me some info on what I have done wrong or a procedure to have these themes (from the Rockbox website) display as I see them on the web page. I have installed the latest builds by downloading theme from the web site.

Album art is not currently a supported feature of official Rockbox.  I believe the wiki and Rockbox-themes.org both mention the patches to sourcecode (or a specific unofficial build) needed to use these themes.

You could use an unofficial build (see the subform for them but remember we don't really support them) or wait for Nico to finish cleaning up the buffer code in rockbox enough so that album art can be officially added.
