How Do I Resize my videos to fit my nano screen?

(1/1)

nick4090:
Hey guys I just installed Rockbox on my nano and I'm loving it.  The only problem is when i play videos, they are too big for the screen and I can't see them all.  Does anyone know how I can fix this?  ???

Any input is appeciated!!  ;D

Check out the wiki page for Mpegplayer.  :)

Did you search first?

nick4090:
Ok, I used the VLC.bat thing to encode my file but now when I try to play it on my iPod, I get a black screen with the message: missing packet start code prefix : 00 at F0FF.

How do I fix that?

crzyboyster:
try the instructions for winff. it is super easy and encodes them very fast and simply. it includes a whole interface, too.

nick4090:
I tried Winff but all it did was make files of 0 so I tried the VLC.  Now I waited at the screen that said the message

--- End quote ---
and after about 1 minute it showed me options to play the video from the beginning and it worked.  How do I bypass that message for 1 minute?
