That's great, but what does Rhapsody have to do with the installation of Rockbox? This should've gone into General Discussion.

Thanks man, I'm glad you posted this here because I have been wanting and trying now to install Rockbox on my E270R and was concerned that the modified bootloader would mess things up DRM or subscription wise, Thanks! Did you use Windows or Linux?? I'm havin troubles doing a Windows install, gonna try Ubuntu now.


By the way, if they have your credit card info, they will auto-bill you every month or quarterly even. I have it and it comes out of my checking every month automatically. Just thought you might check that, unless you have it free somehow else still.

Actually, I think it's reasonable to keep it here.

• It's something you'd want to know before installing
• It's sansa-specific
• It doesn't really have anything to do with using Rockbox

Considering that the forums are for discussion, maybe it's better as a not during the installation section of the manual: "Rockbox does not disable any features of the original firmware on the e200 or e200R".

santod, i couldn't get rhapsody in Jamaica so i went to the USA enabled my two month or one month, came back to Jamaica logged in and volia i can use Rhapsody for unlimited time   [3 months so far] (seems they can't disable is since im not in USA]
