H140 - isnt it possible to display the recording time?

hello rockbox-devs,

the h340 displays not only the file size but also the TIME
during recording... why cant this work with the h140, as well?

Only if you decide to add a RTC chip to your H140 - which most people don't.

I've done it. It's fairly easy and totally worth the risk IMO.

yes, i know about the rtc-mod....
but isnt it possible to do it like the stop watch is done?
just to first have this information without modding
my player...

Now I'm confused, are you saying you do not see the time: line in the while recording screen?

If so I think you are probably splitting on filesize. Turn that off and you'll see the time line again.

Let me know if that was it.
