audible click on fade out?

I just updated my iRiver H140 to todays build 071011 and noticed an audible click each time or almost each time I went to pause or stop mode.

I cross checked with the previous build I was using (070827) annd there was just a smooth fade out when I pressed pause or stop.

Has anything changed in the fade out algorithm inbetween? Did anybody else notice this too?

I don't hear this on my H340 (nor can I see an obvious code change that might cause it).

If you're able to reproduce it at will, perhaps you could try older builds and isolate the date that this started to happen?  Then report it as a bug (see left margin) and attach your config.cfg in case it only happens with some settings.

o.k. I will try to isolate the build where this was introduced. But this may take a while.

I tried the current build on my h120 and can't reproduce the issue. Maybe it's related to the file (just guessing here)?

with todays build (2007-10-18) I even can't reproduce it myself.
