I'd use the LiveCD Ubuntu method guys. It's much easier.

The PP5022.mi4 file needs the be the Rockbox BL (i.e. http://download.rockbox.org/bootloader/sandisk-sansa/e200R/pp5022.mi4), not the original firmware.

I did this, but the 2nd link always came up as an html page on firefox.  I used another computer and it let me download the file instead.  After transferring the file to the computer I used originally, I installed it as was written.  Everything works fine.  By the way, can the Rockbox Utility still be used to download themes and update the firmware (.rockbox) files?  Thanks.

Mice have two buttons for a reason ;)
Hint: Right click, then "Save As".

I tried that, but was not given the option.  I could save the link though.  Anyway, now I have a new problem.  I can't seem to boot the original Sansa firmware.  I get a message stating trying to boot from the partition, but it's an invalid file format.  The player then turns to black and the thumbwheel stays lit.  I have to hold the power button for approximately 15 seconds to shut it down.  Don't know what to do now.

You have to follow the directions. A copy of the original firmware must be in the System folder and be named "OF.mi4".
