The ignore-the patch

Hi -

I'm trying to update the ignore-the patch to work on a current svn rockbox. However, the settings structure has changed radically since then. I couldn't code my way out of a hole, so I'm asking for help. I've synced the patch to work for everything but the settings menu. Can anybody fix that bit for me?

Attached is the patch as a text file.

If anyone could rewrite the settings bit so that they actually work, I have nothing to offer you but my firstborn.

Heh, you'll probably renege on me by guessing my name..  but anyways here's the version I use.  Granted since it's been rejected I haven't been so careful about this being a clean diff (I apply it pretty late in the game on my build), but this should patch and if it doesn't then it's probably a good bit closer to what you want than what you currently have.

If a patch is rejected on the tracker, that does NOT mean "start updating it in the forums instead"

Not at all. In the thread for your own build you're pretty much free to do what you like, so long as it doesn't
A) Interfered with search results
or
B) Attach files to posts outside of those we allow up here (we have limited space for attachments, very limited).
