iRiver: H320 battery problem
« on: October 10, 2007, 01:34:13 AM »
I have had the H320 for 18 months, Rockbox for about 9 months. Worked well until a month ago. I was getting about 10 hours from battery and then suddenly I am only getting about 10 minutes. I have recharged overnight four or five times to try to bring charge up but it doesn't seem to hold it anymore. Does anyone have any suggestions? Could recharging overnight overload the battery and ruin it?

No, overnight charging won't damage your battery. If it did, then people wouldn't be charging cell phones, DAPs, laptops, or anything of the sort overnight, now would they?

It just sounds like your battery's lost its charge capacity and is on its way out. Go on eBay and search for replacement batteries.

Your battery is dying. This is common around the age of 2 years.

Check out Ebay, or similar place, and grab a Cameron Sino 2200mah battery.
