Well, thank you very much. I am very pleased that more people can now get this working in Windows. I think a streamline method is a top priority still, though. And, yes, I would like to know about the hitches. The more correct the instructions are, the better.

Another thing-
Booting back?
Sorry to ask such an (Most likely) obvious question, but what is the method to boot into your Rhapsody firmware?

To boot into the original firmware (you must have OF.mi4 in the SYSTEM folder as the instructions state), you simply hold down the rewind (i.e. <<) button while booting.

Thank you!
It all works perfectly.  Now as you know, I'm itching to try some plugins, and Rockboy, most of all, but I think you deserve to know where I found some problems.  Okay.
1) Very minor, but on my version of Windows XP, its called the Device Manager, rather than the Hardware manager.
2) My Sansa was never recognized as a USB Mass Storage Device until the first driver file was loaded onto the computer, rather it was either "Unkown Device" or "Unknown USB Device"
3) I never had to do the first bullet on step four, it was already done for me.
4) Finally, I suggest, and this I think is the most important, that you remind your viewers that the Systems folder is hidden.

Thats it, I'm sure theres more though.  Good luck with this.  By the way, can I make it so when I turn on the Sansa, the Rockbox is only activated when I hold rewind?  Instad of the other way around?

To my knowledge, there is no way to do this on the R series yet. The reverse BL build is for the vanilla players.

1) Yeah, I see that now.
2) OK, I did say to only do that if not prompted to install drivers, but I see how it can be confusing.
3) Really? I had to do that on my computer. But it works either way.
4) I only wrote the bootloader patching wiki page, none others, but thanks anyway.

One last question.  Is the command prompt the "run" tab in the start menu?  Thanks in advance.

No, the command prompt is under Start->All Programs->Accessories->Command Prompt

And, if you don't know what the command prompt is, I highly suggest not attempting to put Rockbox on your e200R.

That was the only thing that sounded different to me.  I know everything else in the instructions.  Thanks.

Zajacattack, another way to get to command prompt in XP is Start->Run then type in cmd.

This question is for zajacattack or anyone else who knows how to fix this. when i try to "execute e200tool recover BL_SD_boardSupportSD.rom" like it says in the guide, i get this error:

C:\WINDOWS\e200tool>e200tool recover BL_SD_boardSupportSD.rom
e200tool v0.2.3-alpha (c) by MrH 2006, 2007
Searching for device 0781:0720 ... found!
Initializing USB stub (4780 bytes) ...
Bulk write error (-22, Invalid argument)

i made a folder called e200tool (where i unzipped the e200tool files to) and put it in the windows folder.  I'm not quite sure what the bulk write error is but if you know please help.  Thanks.

Yes, that is a bug that some people (including me) have had. The only way right now is to disconnect the Sansa, shut it down, and reconnect in recovery mode. You have to keep trying until it works.

I think you meant manufacturing mode, not recovery mode.

p.s. i think it would be a great help to many beginners out there if you made a youtube tutorial video of your guide.  Just thowing that out there ;)

edit: still not working for some reason.  I've been trying to do it over and over again for a while now but i'm still getting the same message.  Can you tell me if i typed in anything wrong by looking at my other post.
