Problem with Themes on Sansa

(1/2) > >>

christianity_9:
I've been trying to get a new theme on my MP3 player for some time. The manuals state that you just extract the contents of your downloaded theme to the "Theme" folder. And so I did, and the forecolour + backcolour usually change, but nothing else changes. The icons and interface do not change. I downloaded a theme specifically for my MP3 player (Sansa e260), so I hoping it would work. When I try to add the theme, I go to Settings > Theme Settings > Browse Themes, and I select the .cfg files. That usually just changes forecolour and backcolour. When I select the .wps file, there are no changes. My question is, can I load font, fore/backcolours, interface all at once? The way I'm doing it does not seem to be working.

The theme I trying to add was DockPodAA. And yes, I have the font package.

christianity_9,

There should be a few folders, which will be placed into the .rockbox folder (Themes, WPS, Fonts, Backdrops).  Do not place the entire WPS contents into just the Themes folder.

bluebrother:
DockPodAA needs an unsupported build. Which is, as the name tells, unsupported.

christianity_9:
But, I've tried other themes too, and they come out to having the same problem. Only the forecolour and backcolour change when I add them.

Hweb21:
Probably because they all require patches, meaning you need an unsupported build.
