USB on Sansa

What is the problem currently with Rockbox and the Sansa USB support? What needs to be done to get this working?

Zagor says he's about to overhaul these drivers and make an effort to get USB going "for real". Let's hope he'll manage to pull that through.

Charging is possible with rockbox, but data transfer isn't.  %bl in wps is unreliable when charging as a gauge to charge level though, it seems to climb from x to 100% in a matter of minutes no matter what charge level its at, but if left on charge for some time (1/2 hour or whatever) it does actually get some charge. (battery meter is readable in wps when debug screendump option is enabled).
