Reseting

I just installed the Boot Loader for rock box on my 2GB 1st Gen iPod nano and i have got to a screen which says:

Rockbox boot loader
version: 2.0
IPOD version: 0x000c0005
SST55LD019K-45-C-MWE
No partion found
Hold MENU+SELECT to
reboot then SELECT+PLAY
for disk mode

BUt my menu button does not appear to be working and when I plug it into my computer it does not appear on my desktop or in iTunes. Is there any way i can restore it to the normal iPod settings?

you need to HOLD Menu + Select, and you need to do this for quite a while. You might also check the IpodFAQ about resetting the Ipod, it also has a link to apple describing how resetting works. Unless your hardware is broken the reset sequence WILL work.
